Enthusiastic, friendly and committed person required for a full-time seasonal position at a busy Watersports Training Centre.
You will be working with a team of senior instructors ensuring the smooth delivery of RYA training courses and tasters in dinghy sailing and windsurfing to a range of adults and youths aged 6 upwards. This senior instructor role requires experience in running maintenance programmes to ensure equipment is safe and in good working order.
We run multi-activity schools days and weeks and teach school groups during the term time, youth schemes and camps in the holidays and adult courses at weekends. As well as leading instructors, you will be expected to take part in the centre set-up and pack-down routine, and the centre cleaning programme.
You will need excellent communication skills and be able to deliver a high level of customer service.
As some of the role will involve working in the office dealing with customers and bookings, you will need to be competent in literacy, numeracy and IT.
This post is a five day working week with options for over time. As we are open seven days a week, weekend work is a part of the job.
Full training provided where needed and a comprehensive staff development package. Staff discounts are also available from the watersports shop.
This post is open to Senior Instructors and experienced multi-qualified instructors. BC kayaking instructor qualifications would be considered advantageous.
