We are recruiting outdoor instructors for our 2024 season to help deliver our high quality sessions at our Activity Center. 

We offer adventure activity days, such as canoe river trips, Introduction sessions to canoe, kayak, Stand Up Paddle-boarding, Gorge Adventure Days, Caving, Rock Climbing, Archery, Mountain Biking, Raft Building, Hill Walking High Level & Low Level Ropes Courses, Orienteering, to a wide range of clients such as schools, collages, social groups such as stag and hen parties, families groups and company away days and team building events.

Black Mountain as over 30 years of experience in delivering adventure activities.

we are open 7 days a week, with time off in the week, there is also an opportunity to earn extra pay by work some evening sessions and overtime during the busy times.

You will be delivering a safe, fun and enjoyable activity season. Working within the company’s guidelines and NGB qualifications.

Own car would be essential, having D1 on your license would be an advantage.

All candidates must have at least two NGB awards and a current first aid certificate. the awards we are looking for are:-

Rock climbing Instructor award
Climbing Wall Award
Mountain Leader
British canoeing paddle sports Leader/Coaching awards Level 1 or above.,
Local Cave Leader - South Wales Level 1 or higher.
Other awards which will be an advantage are:-
Swift Water Rescue award
GNAS or archery leader award, mountain Bike leader award.
D1 License
Driving license and own car
