Description
Interested in developing a career in Outdoor Adventure Activities and gaining a recognised qualification? Join a great team in the heart of Sherwood Forest as an Outdoor Adventure Activity Instructor.
Walesby Forest is set in 250 acres of Sherwood Forest and provides opportunities for young people to develop in a safe and secure environment.
Each year we recruit enthusiastic and energetic Outdoor Adventure Activity Instructors, Group Leaders and support staff to supervise, encourage, inspire and deliver a wide range of outdoor adventure activities.
No formal qualifications are required and full training will be given by our experienced team. You will be enrolled on our Apprenticeship programme and gain recognised sporting qualifications (NGBs) and an NVQ in Activity Leadership.
Our Activity Instructors introduce participants to a number of activities and deliver taster sessions including archery, laser quest, rifles, kayaking, orienteering, climbing, quadbiking, abseiling, assauly courses, forest challenge and ropes courses as well as assisting on bushcraft, CSI and discovery programmes.

Requirements
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed instructors to join our team. You must enjoy working with children in an outdoor setting, be practical and willing to participate in a wide range of activities.
Experience of working or volunteering with Scouts, Guides or young people will be an advantage to your application, but is not essential. You will need plenty of energy, diplomacy and the ability to relate and confidently communicate with a wide range of clients.
