JCA is one of the fastest growing providers of school residential and day activity centres, predominantly to primary schools. Operating a total of 13 centres across the UK, the centres provide a great value proposition to schools, and can be tailored to individual requirements.
The business has recently invested in a multi million-pound development and have successfully enhanced the existing facilities of Condover Hall. This exceptional centre and location is the flagship site to deliver an unforgettable learning experience to both students and teachers alike.

The Technical Support Co-ordinator will play a key role in the provision of staff development, training & logistical support to the Travelclass (JCA & Adventure Quest) centres throughout the UK. Ensuring that the provision of equipment standards are maintained throughout the operational period at all Centres.

What You'll Be Doing

  • To ensure a high levels of service and consistence of product is delivered to our customers whilst on site
  • To ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety guidelines & Governing Body inspections
  • To deliver the operations for 3rd party contracts
  • Responsibility for Centre equipment & logistics planning Working to KPI’s to ensure delivery of programme & achievement of set targets
  • Session Observations in Off Ground & new ‘Initiative Exercises’
  • Provide logistic support to and from Travelclass Centres
  • Management of Allocation of all Travelclass Centre Equipment
  • Responsibility of all Maintenance, Storage & Security of all Travelclass Centre Equipment
  • Assist in Planning & Delivery of all ‘Off Ground’
  • Technical Activities in accordance with Governing Bodies
  • In line with Technical Advisor implement any new procedures / guidelines as per Governing Bodies
  • Monitor, Appraise & Observe staff performance during Training & Operational Period

Requirements

  • Relevant outdoor & water based educational experience essential
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook & Powerpoint
  • Strong organisational & time management skills essential
  • Strong management skills with the ability to provide advice & support to large a seasonal team including Centre Managers, Senior Instructors & Instructors
  • Qualification Requirements, minimum SPA Assessed or CWA Assessed
  • Understanding & experience of accessing, routine maintenance & safety checks on High Ropes Activities
  • Driver over 21 years old with current driving license
  • Driving License PCV category D1E or above

Desirable

  • UKCC Level 3 or equivalent
  • Working at Height Certified
