Are you an outdoor professional looking for a permanent job with 4 months of holiday a year?
Based in Polzeath on the stunning north coast of Cornwall, we are looking for a seasoned instructor/manager to work for 8 months a year.
This post is varied, exciting and challenging, with responsibilities ranging from leading groups in a variety of activities and venues, to mentoring and managing junior instructors and supporting the directors in the day to day running, growth and development of the business.
As a small and tightly-knit team with a very busy peak season it will be your responsibility to ensure that everything runs smoothly from day to day, including helping with bookings, gear checks and maintenance, staffing rotas and face to face client interactions.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an intelligent, passionate outdoor professional that has more to give than just instructional skill.

Requirements
Applicants must have relevant experience instructing in at least two of the following three activities:
- Rock Climbing (SPA or MIA)
- Coasteering (NARS or RLSS or SLSGB certs preferable)
- Sea Kayaking (BCU Level 2 Coach or higher 3* Sea (UKCC))
- Must be in very good physical shape and a strong, confident swimmer (must be able to swim 400m in under 7.5 minutes)
The successful candidate needs to be responsible, enthusiastic and personable, with an open-minded can-do attitude.
