Outdoor Pursuits Trainee

Are you looking for a career in the outdoor pursuits industry? Get paid while you work toward your NVQ Level 2 in Outdoor Leadership.

In order to be entitled to Government funded training you MUST be under 30 years of ages on 1/10/12 and not be a university graduate. Also you cannot hold a national diploma, or a BTEC higher than a level 1 or an NVQ 3 in order to recieve funding.

This is a 'hands on', experience based course with a heavy focus on group work. Land and water based activities are included, plus Mountain First Aid, and training in all aspects of the operational processes and procedures in running an active, family run Outdoor Centre.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for those with the enthusiasm and drive to give 100% effort and commitment. Over the last 4 years, course members have gone on to work in outdoor centres throughout the UK and abroad.
