From beginners to experts alike - we make these holidays accessible to everyone. With our ever expanding fleet of yachts we own ourselves, we operate sailing centres from several of our Beachplus Clubs as well as from our main yacht base in Nidri, Greece.
About the role
As a Flotilla mate you will assist the Flotilla skipper in the safe running of the Flotilla and the hospitality aspect of the guests stay and sail flotilla experience, providing excellent care and service to all Neilson guests of all ages to ensure that they have a holiday that exceeds their expectations.
You will be required to provide sailing instruction to guests of all ages and abilities therefore a Keelboat Instructor qualification is desirable but sailing experience is essential. You will need to be confident to host social events on most evenings and provide exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring that the yachts are ready for new arrivals on each turnaround day, providing a safe and enjoyable working environment and take responsibility for company money as and when required.
You will need to have a can do attitude with a hand’s on approach to your work as you may be required to assist in other duties within the flotilla programme. You will need to be an excellent communicator, be highly self motivated and able to work on your own initiative. You will also need to be an excellent team player but with the ability to work independently.

Requirements
To be considered for this role you will need to have a VHF licence, be first aid qualified and educated to GCSE standard. You will need previous customer service experience. Your personal sailing must be at a level where you would be confident to do a Keelboat Instructor course which must be taken before the start of the season.
