Course Leader: Food

A Passion For ... (part of the Super Camps Group) is looking for enthusiastic individuals to run our A Passion For Food holiday workshop programmes for children aged 6-16 years old. 
 
You will be helping children to prepare a wide variety of recipes by demonstration and assistance, closely following the training guidelines of our course developer, Splat Cooking. You will need to be passionate about cooking and to be very confident in the kitchen, and to be able to bring the topic to life with lots of fun in the process. You will also be required to get involved in activities outside the core workshop hours, during the extended hours (8:30am – 9:30am and 3:30pm – 5:30pm).

Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Ideally you will be a qualified or trainee Food Tech teacher, although non-teachers with suitable experience will be considered, and will have experience working with children and young people. A first aid qualification is desirable.
Health and Safety are of particular significance for this course, and hence you will be required to attend the Food Hygiene training day as well as the Central Training Day, regardless of your previous experience.

Enthusiasm, energy, strong organisational abilities and an interest in working with children are essential.
